Ingredients for Better Health

UPDATE: 1/17/2023

Over the past three years the term “health” has become so politized and in a sense almost feels weaponized as a classification to pit people against one another.  I started this blog/website so that I could learn and share my experiences with finding new and better ingredients to improve my own health. Through my experiences and struggles with my own ill health, I discovered that there are many ways to improve individual health. By taking your health into your own hands (if needed working with a doctor, that is willing to assist you) you can use natural medicine and holistic health measures to improve your overall wellbeing. The goal remains the same, to learn through research and from other people’s experiences and to share that information.

Health, like any recipe, is made up of many different ingredients

The ingredients that we add, omit, or change in any given recipe will determine the flavor, nutritional value, and ultimate success of that meal.

Similarly, the ingredients that you include in your life will determine your overall health.

Welcome to Ingredients for Better Health

My name is Maria.

I have created this blog so that I can learn, share, and discuss simple and natural ways to improve overall health and wellness.

Having suffered for many years from severe abdominal pain, caused by many food allergies and severe chronic gastritis.

I began researching the causes and natural treatments for chronic gastritis, in order to heal naturally,

What I found was, that there are many natural remedies and practices to treat, improve, and prevent not just chronic gastritis but also many other health conditions.

Simple practices that can improve your overall health:

• Drinking lemon water
• Using essential oils
• Exposure to direct sunlight
• Music therapy
• Gardening/Grounding
• Dry skin brushing
• Switching to an organic diet
• Probiotics
• Taking Supplements (Minerals/Vitamins)
• Heavy Metal Detox
• Physical Activity

Some of these practices have drastically improved my health and wellness.

The chronic stomach pain that plagued me for many years is now gone.

This blog is intended for individuals, who are looking for ways to naturally improve their own health and wellbeing.

As well as for individuals that would like to share their own experiences of holistic/natural healing.

Health and wellness are not just about what you eat.

Your thoughts and emotions play a huge role in your wellbeing.

Holding onto past pain and trauma is detrimental to your health.

Family culture, social issues, and personal relationships also affect your health and wellbeing.

The Holistic approach to health refers to addressing your health (mind, body, and soul) as a whole.

Taking a holistic approach to your health is key to figuring out where to make adjustments in your life.

Keeping in mind your physical, emotional, and mental health while also considering social factors.

Life-saving treatments and the benefits of modern medicine (allopathic medicine) are well understood.

Personally, I have benefited from modern treatments and my husband is alive today thanks in large part to modern medicine and technology.

Not all ailments and medical situations can be treated or alleviated by natural holistic medicine.

There is a time and place for both holistic medicine and allopathic medicine.

Depending on the individual situation and health concerns.

For many non-emergency health issues, natural treatments can be a good approach to try.

I am not a doctor or medical expert!

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother that has become passionate about health and wellness.

Natural medicine and taking the holistic approach to health is fascinating to me.

Researching, learning, and writing are my favorite past times and teaching has always been important to me.

My goal is to find ingredients for better health that I can add and apply to my own life, as well as to share those ingredients with others.

I hope that you will join me on this journey of discovery, healing, and better living.
